Kaaren Murray, B.A.H., CHIM
Member Highland SDTA, Associate National SDTA, ScotDance Alberta Professional
Kaaren began highland dancing at age 4 under Caroline McNicoll in Edmonton, AB and spent most of her dance career with the McNicoll School. She has enjoyed competitive success throughout the years, and continues to enjoy dancing and competing as an adult dancer. It is this lifelong participation in dance as a fun way to be active that Kaaren hopes to convey to others.
Over the years Kaaren has also trained in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap.
Outside of dance, Kaaren graduated from Queen's University with a liberal arts degree and is a Certified Health Information Management Professional.
Additional instruction is provided by Alix Esterhuizen, Associate Highland SDTA, ScotDance Alberta Professional.
